App doesnt work

I have a ZJ-WiFi-320 controller. The software find it, but i can open it and change the CCT. Your old version Magic Color v2.0.1 works. But this version have a big bug in the gradient curve! Your curve work from 255/0 brightness cold white to 127/127 neutral white to 0/255 warm white. So i lost 50% power in the midle. The right way is 255/0 to 255/255 to 0/255. So i can used 100% power if i need and the brightness i can change with the slider! Maybe you can update it!!

Customzied colors function doesnt work

The new feature doesnt work.

Okay, but...

...please add a possibility to save selected colors.

Old screen fitting size.

Please update the size of screen its good for. Advertise as fits iPhone 6 however wouldnt fit iPhone 5s. Please fix fast.

Needs improvement

The app works really good. However the music function needs more improvement. U could use the built-in microphone to detect the music or the sound of the ambient instead of using only the library music. But still a great app to rule all the smart rgb system in the house

Not start.....

with the latest update does not start the application. Whit iPhone 5 iOS 8.3

Magic Home WiFi

Could bee much better wifi over router doesnt work every time... And YOU should make Windows phone App too...

Loyal Customer Hoping for the best

Ive been using this app and the LED bulbs for almost a year now. Im not sure if this is compatible with HomeKit? If it is, that would be awesome because this app is just not updated enough and the user interface is crap. I really thought it would have been better but the app development just hasnt kept up with competition... PLEASE UPDATE!

Pretty decent lights with modification

These lights are much cheaper than other brands out there. The main reason being is that they do not require a special wifi hub to operate. That doesnt mean that they wont work better with a dedicated hub. After messing with the lights for many days, I noticed that one or two of them would not show up in the app. Sometimes all of them showed and sometimes not. Since these lights are installed down a long hallway, I assumed that they were having a hard time connecting to my wifi router. It made sense as they are in recessed metal fixtures in the ceiling. I resolved this by installing a cheap wall plug wifi extender/repeater. The trick was to rename the SSID or Network name that it broadcast to something other than my home network name (I chose Lightbulbs) and set the extender to bridge/repeater mode with my regular home network info. I chose to create a new network because I have several extenders throughout my house broadcasting the same network name. A new dedicated network name would make sure the bulbs always connected to that particular extender that I put in the hall with the lights. The final step is to reset the bulbs to connect to your new network and reconfigure the app with the new network info. The bulbs still get an IP address assigned by my main home router but connect to wifi via the extender. I havent had a problem with them since adding the extender. I hope that made sense and helps.

Great App But...

This is fantastic for controlling your wifi led bulbs. Only reason for 4 stars is there is no iPad or Mac versions. iPad version would be great! As far as the iPhone app goes, it works flawlessly.

No support. Timer doesnt work

The timer control needs improvement. On the RGBWW setting, it does not control the WW LEDs when set with the timer. Which makes the timer useless for me. It also jumps to the next color when a timer is set. Would be nice if it would fade between colors when the timer is used. Please add support for this product. I cant seem to find a support email for the product. Apple Watch compatibility would also be a nice addition.

could be better

This app is very useful but the process of scanning and getting into the app is slow, and is lacking home-kit features like turning on lights using siri. This is a huge downside especially because other companies have already had HomeKit access for a long time. Please add HomeKit.

Great

Easy to use, I use this app to control led lights on my car.

Nice app and products, but...

...how do I contact the developer? I would like him to add manual IP configuration of devices since they are not discoverable via VPN. I do not wish to use a cloud service and would rather use a private VPN to access my home network, but the software does not function over VPN currently.

Great, but still needs to improve

It should let us add a "turn on/off" button directly to the notification center as a WIDGET. It would be very useful! Think about it, please!

Nice

The app it very smooth and easy to use

Work as stated

I think theyre great! They take a little getting use too. But once youve got it, its great fun. The timer is not exact but close enough. Great work. Keep the updates coming.

Barely useable

There seems to be huge gaps in the usability of this app. It is difficult to setup timed events. The selection of what the timed event does (either on or off) is difficult to tell until you have saved the event. If it is not what you wanted, you can easily pull it up and modify it to do what you want, but that is another step, that should be unnecessary. A relatively easy modification to the user interface would make this simple task simple again. I wanted to try the music driving the light, but again there is a poorly designed user interface to turn what should be a piece of cake into difficult, frustrating task. Beyond setting it up every song I have tried to use displayed the message the message saying that I was trying to use DRM protected music. In fact I was not. I tried music that I ripped from a CD. To satisfy myself that it wasn’t something I was doing wrong, I hooked up a keyboard and made a quick nonsensical song. I added it to iTunes and tried using that. And you guessed it, I was once again told that the song I was trying to use was DRM protected. Trust me it wasn’t and it isn’t even something some else would even want to listen to. This product could actually reach the barely OK status by having someone who actually knows how to design and implement a descent user interface. It could actually reach 3 star status if they trashed what they have here and design it from the ground up with competent staff. This may seem to be harsh, but this was clearly not a well thought out, executed app

Works on wifi and WAN (cell)

Works great with the flux wifi light bulbs i got on amazon. I like being able to control locally while on wifi and remotely while on LTE. I like being able to lie on my sofa and turn off only the can light that is directly above me without having to use the wall switch that turns off all the lights in the family room. Easy to setup for the first access and easy to setup for remote access.

Great bulbs

I have quite a few of the flux LED bulbs that this app controls and they are awesome! The app is "okay" but could use a few improvements: - overall Interface improvement - ability to add lights to multiple groups - when adding a light to your wifi network it should verify that the password you entered actually connected before adding it into the list
